2024 Proposed Dismissal of SG❤️IVE Admin 31

The 2024 Proposed Dismissal of SG❤️IVE Admin 31 was a member removal poll that took place in November 2024. At that time the SG❤️IVE Team consisted of five individuals - Admin 1, Admin 3, Admin 21B, Admin 21A and Admin 31. The team was led by SG❤️IVE President Jared Ong, also known as Admin 21A.

Section 1: The Poll

Background

Back in June 2024, Ong, Admin 31, O and Z were added into a friend group led by Bus Enthusiast Yan Yu Xiang Shaun. Z was removed in September 2024 after disagreements with Yan.

SG❤️IVE was later formed on 1 October 2024. Admin 31 was invited by Ong to be part of the SG❤️IVE Admin team.

On 3 November 2024, a dispute broke out between Admin 31, O and Yan. Yan had accused Admin 31 and O of being 'brainwashed' by an individual known as M. M had previously cut ties with Yan over a dispute weeks before 3 November 2024. As a result of the dispute, Admin 31 and O were removed from the friend group, leaving Ong as the remaining member inside the friend group other than Yan.

Yan then instructed Ong to remove Admin 31 from the SG❤️IVE Team as soon as possible. Therefore an internal document proposing Admin 31's removal was produced on 5 November 2024.

Inside The Internal Document

Inside the internal Document, Ong cited three reasons for removing Admin 31. The first was due to Admin 31's dispute with Yan,  the second was due to Admin 31 being in contact with an individual known as IM, which Ong had a dispute with, the third was due to Admin 31's non-fulfilment of duties and the fourth was Admin 31's unloyalty towards IVE's Wonyoung.

Poll

The four options of the poll were revealed inside the internal document.

Option 1: I want Admin 31 to be dismissed due to his dispute with S.

Option 2: I want Admin 31 to be dismissed due to his ties with a ‘enthu enthusiast’.

Option 3: I want Admin 31 to be dismissed due to his non-fulfiment of tasks assigned to him.

Option 4: I want Admin 31 to be retained in the admin team of SG❤️IVE (Please specify the reasons why)

The following individuals were invited to participate in the poll:

- Admin 1

- Admin 3

- Admin 21B

- Shaun Yan Yu Xiang

All individuals who were invited to vote were required to participate in the vote by informing Ong about their options privately via WhatsApp.

Finalised Decision

After the results were collated, it was decided by Ong that Admin 31 would be dismissed due to his relations with IM. It was also decided by Ong that Admin 31, IM and 6 other individuals were to be blacklisted by SG❤️IVE.

Admin 31 was dismissed on 16 November 2024 at 0035hrs (Singapore Time).

Replacement

A new 'Admin 8' was added into the team of SG❤️IVE at 1330hrs on the same day. Admin 21A's admin name was changed to Admin 7 and Admin 21B's admin name was changed to Admin 21.

There were plans to resume SG❤️IVE operations. However, SG❤️IVE would remain dormant and is still dormant as of 25 June 2025.

Aftermath

Police Report Made Against Yan

Ties between Yan and Ong would later be cut on 19 February after Ong was harassed by Yan. Following the blocking of Yan by Ong on all social media platforms, Ong re-established ties with Admin 31, IM, O and Z. SG❤️IVE also un-blacklisted all previously blacklisted individuals.

Admin 31 becomes an SKMA member

On 19 May 2025, with the formation of Singapore K-pop Multistan Association (SKMA), Admin 31 was added into the SKMA's Central Executive Committee (CEC) out of sympathy as SG❤️IVE had became a SKMA member group. IM was then added into the SKMA as a regular member around a week later.

Admin 31 and IM depart SKMA

On 14 June 2025, Admin 31 and IM departed SKMA following an internal dispute. This would also mark the end of friendship between Ong and the duo.
